When displaying size values in your size chart, rounding plays an essential role in making the information clear and easy to understand. Depending on the situation, you might want to round values to one or two decimal places, or simply round up or down to the nearest whole number. Here's a quick explanation of how our rounding function works.

How Unit Rounding Works

The rounding logic is based on four common methods:

  • One Decimal Place :

    • Rounds the number to one decimal place.
    • Example: 78.256 becomes 78.3.
  • Two Decimal Places :

    • Rounds the number to two decimal places for more precision.
    • Example: 78.256 becomes 78.26.
  • Floor :

    • Rounds the number down to the nearest number.
    • Example: 78.9 becomes 78.
  • Ceil :

    • Rounds the number up to the nearest number.
    • Example: 78.1 becomes 79.
